A cryptocurrency exchange platform has developed a feature that allows people to buy or sell coins on the platform in real time.
The feature, called Market-Making, is designed to allow people to purchase or sell crypto assets on Kraken without trading fees or transaction fees.
“Market-Making is an innovative new feature that provides a market for buying and selling crypto assets directly on Kraken, without the need for a third-party broker or exchanger,” said Ben Goertzel, Kraken’s CEO.
The new feature is currently available for testing and users can sign up to get the feature in their account settings.
Kraken is also working to expand the feature to other cryptocurrency exchanges in the future.
“It’s a great example of how our team is working to grow and enhance our platform,” Goertsel said.
The news comes amid ongoing concerns about how crypto-assets are being priced.
Earlier this week, Bitcoin Cash, the most prominent cryptocurrency that was previously used by a small subset of investors, fell by more than 30 percent, and Ethereum lost nearly 1,000 percent of its value.
This week, bitcoin fell again, falling by nearly 2,000.
This is in addition to the recent collapse of other cryptocurrency stocks such as Ripple, Ethereum Classic, and Monero.
Kraken has previously been working to address the price volatility of crypto-traded assets, including the recent launch of its crypto-exchange, the Kraken Exchange.
Kraken said the exchange will be offering an “investor friendly” pricing model that “favors the long-term investment of our users over the short-term trading of our cryptocurrency.”
Kraken also has a new trading engine called Kraken Exchange, which is expected to offer a more convenient and user-friendly trading experience.
